How Wdidi built a multi-sector compliance academy on LearnWorlds.
A brand system, page architecture, course builds and search content for an employment law training provider.

One expert. Three audiences.
Employment law trainingThe founder spent 15 years as a UK employment law partner, then 15 years leading people and compliance for international groups, before founding Wdidi, short for “What Do I Do If?”. The aim was to give managers practical answers to costly people problems.
Wdidi courses are short, work on mobile and cover investigations, tribunals, discrimination, harassment and absence. Custom versions serve public sector clients, and a new Bar series serves barristers, pupils and chambers staff.
We have worked with Wdidi across several years. We started with course content and web build. The scope grew to cover brand, UX, copy, search and marketing strategy.
Visit WdidiA growing catalogue, and very different buyers.
- How do we route employers, barristers, chambers staff and public sector teams to the right training from one homepage?
- How do we keep a large catalogue easy to browse when some courses sit in two programmes?
- How do we present two course depths, one with verifiable CPD, so each buyer picks the right one?
- How does a three-colour brand grow into a full visual system?
- How does a small expert-led business get found when buyers search by problem, not by course name?
- How do we speak to an employer, an HR consultant and an individual facing a tribunal without diluting the message for any of them?
A working habit, not a one-off project.
Brand and design system
We locked the colour palette, typefaces and page components. Every new page draws on the same system, so campaign pages, course pages and embeds look like one brand.
Page architecture
We rebuilt the homepage as a routing hub, with the brand question “What do you do if…” at the top, workplace scenarios beneath it and clear routes for each audience. We then redesigned the Bar section around audience first: separate programme pages for barristers and chambers staff, and a comparison page setting a shorter Foundation course against a Comprehensive course with verifiable CPD. The staff page leaves out the CPD claim, which does not apply to them.
Course builds and copy
We built courses in LearnWorlds with AI-presented video. We wrote course descriptions for the Bar series in two audience versions, so barristers and chambers staff each read copy written for them.
Illustration system
Every course card needed an image. We set an editorial line-and-fill style with a brand-matched palette and varied, natural-looking characters. LearnWorlds accepts one card image per course, and some courses sit in two programmes, so we kept each illustration programme-neutral and added a coloured footer at export. One master now yields a framed image for each programme.
Campaign pages
We built landing pages for people facing an employment tribunal, each speaking to one worry. We also built an affiliate page for HR consultants and advisers.
Search and content
We audited the site's pages and posts for search and wrote target keywords, titles and descriptions for each. We added structured data for the founder and drafted a content plan covering a knowledge hub, LinkedIn and email.
A site built to grow with the catalogue.
Wdidi now runs one site with clear routes for each audience. New courses slot into an existing system for design, illustration and page structure. The Bar series launched with two audience paths and a clear upgrade route from Foundation to Comprehensive.
